o The Seminole Oral History Collection at the Samuel Proctor Oral History Center at the University of Florida includes over 100 transcriptions of oral histories collected from Seminole and Miccosukee Tribal members during the second half of the 20th and early 21st centuries. In this diverse collection, interviewees discuss topics ranging from traditional Florida Indian cultural practices––crafts, storytelling, religion, etc.––to changes in social and political structure in the 1900s. The collection includes the testimony of not only prominent community and governmental leaders, but also that of ordinary tribal members who observe the changing dynamics of their tribes. It is a valuable resource of primary source material on the different factions of Florida Indians living in South Florida.                                                                                                                             Click Here for More Information
